Presented by Ken Sansone, SL Environmental Law Group
In recognition of Earth Day, NYCOM is partnering with OPTERRA Energy Services to present a webinar focused on practical energy solutions for municipal wastewater treatment facilities. OPTERRA is an energy services company that works with local governments, schools, and other public entities to deliver energy efficiency and renewable energy initiatives.
This webinar will provide an introduction to the current cybersecurity threats facing the water and wastewater sector and their potential impacts. It will also provide an overview of Wastewater Cybersecurity and related regulations recently adopted by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC), and how these new rules affect municipalities. This session will end with a discussion of the SECURE grant offered through the Environmental Facilities Corporation (EFC), and how these funds can help support compliance.
